About the Recipe
Savour the warm and inviting flavours of autumn with our Overnight Apple Pie Oats. Creamy oats are combined with juicy apples, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a dash of maple syrup, creating a breakfast that's both healthy and utterly delicious.
You can swap the milk and yogurt for plant based options if you want a vegan alternative.

Ingredients
100g porridge oats
250g shredded apple
1 tbsp tablespoon orange juice
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp ground flax seeds
1 tsp ground cinnamon, or more to taste
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
300ml of cows milk orĀ alternative plant based milk such as almond or cashew
1/4 cup 2% Greek yogurt, optional
2 tbsp walnuts/pecans
Preparation
Steps
Combine dry ingredients in medium container with a cover.
Add the wet ingredients and mix again.
Cover and transfer the container to the refrigerator. Let sit for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Top with Greek yogurt (optional) and walnuts or pecans.
