About the Recipe

Savour the warm and inviting flavours of autumn with our Overnight Apple Pie Oats. Creamy oats are combined with juicy apples, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a dash of maple syrup, creating a breakfast that's both healthy and utterly delicious.

You can swap the milk and yogurt for plant based options if you want a vegan alternative.
NOTE: Nutrition amount will vary for vegan option.

Ingredients

  • 100g porridge oats

  • 250g shredded apple

  • 1 tbsp tablespoon orange juice

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon, or more to taste

  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 300ml of cows milk orĀ  alternative plant based milk such as almond or cashew

  • 1/4 cup 2% Greek yogurt, optional

  • 2 tbsp walnuts/pecans

  1. Combine dry ingredients in medium container with a cover.

  2. Add the wet ingredients and mix again.

  3. Cover and transfer the container to the refrigerator. Let sit for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  4. Top with Greek yogurt (optional) and walnuts or pecans.
