TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Personal Training and Nutrition Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
-
These terms and conditions govern the provision of personal training services provided by Sian’s Fitness and Nutrition.
-
By booking and attending personal training sessions, clients agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
2. Services Provided
-
Personal training sessions will include fitness assessments, exercise programmes, and tailored advice based on the client’s goals and health needs.
-
Sessions may take place in a gym, at home, outdoors, or virtually depending on prior agreement.
3. Booking & Cancellation Policy
-
Sessions must be booked in advance.
-
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the session. Cancellations made after this time may be subject to a missed session, and the session will be forfeited with no refund given.
-
In the event of a missed session with no prior notice, the session will be forfeited, and no refund will be given.
-
Sessions can be rescheduled, but a week’s notice must be given as per the cancellation policy.
4. Payment Terms
-
Payment for sessions is due before the day of the session, unless otherwise agreed.
-
Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, via PayPal or cash.
-
Prices for services are as outlined on the website or agreed upon before the start of services.
-
Any price changes will be communicated to clients in advance.
5. Health and Safety
-
It is the responsibility of the client to inform the trainer of any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations prior to beginning a personal training programme.
-
A medical clearance from a doctor may be required for clients with certain health concerns.
-
Clients should only participate in exercises they feel physically capable of performing, and they should inform the trainer if they experience pain or discomfort during any exercises.
6. Liability
-
The trainer is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused during or after a session, except in the case of negligence or failure to uphold reasonable safety standards.
-
Clients participate in personal training at their own risk.
7. Client Conduct
-
Clients should arrive on time for scheduled sessions. Late arrivals will result in reduced session time, with no change in the session fee.
-
Clients should be appropriately dressed for training, including suitable footwear.
-
The trainer reserves the right to refuse service if a client’s conduct is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.
8. Confidentiality and Data Protection
-
The trainer will keep all client information confidential and will only use it for the purpose of providing training services.
-
Personal data will be stored securely and in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 (or applicable law).
9. Termination of Agreement
-
Either party may terminate the training agreement with a one month notice period.
-
The trainer reserves the right to terminate the agreement immediately if the client breaches any terms or engages in inappropriate behaviour.
10. Indemnity
-
The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the trainer from any claims, losses, damages, or injuries that arise from participation in the training services, except in cases of negligence or misconduct on the trainer’s part.
11. Modifications
-
The trainer reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, and any changes will be communicated to clients in writing.
12. Governing Law
-
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of United Kingdom, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of United Kingdom courts.
